What is Organization ID
The Organization ID functions as your unique identifier in Apple Business Manager. By sharing your Organization ID with a participating Apple Authorized Reseller and linking their Reseller Number, we can authorize the reseller to register devices, allowing the serial numbers to appear in Apple Business Manager.
From where we can find the Organization ID ?
Step 1 : Login to Apple Business manager https://business.apple.com/
Step 2: Choose Preferences in the account settings and click on Organization Information to find the organization ID on the page.
What is Reseller Number & Apple Customer Number
A Reseller Number is a unique code given to each Apple Authorized Reseller participating in Apple Business Manager. By associating an Apple Authorized Reseller's account with ABM (and providing them with your Organization ID), we authorize the reseller to enroll the serial numbers of devices purchased from them in Apple Business Manager.
The Apple Customer Number is the unique identifier given to the organization by Apple, which is utilized for buying Apple hardware or software.
How to authorize a reseller in Apple Business Manager
Step 1 : Choose Preferences in the account settings and select MDM Server Assignment and tap on Edit next to Customer Numbers
Step 2 : Choose either Apple or a Reseller from the dropdown menu to add, then enter the number and click on Add and Done. This will authorize the addition of the reseller.
After exchanging and verifying the Organization ID and Reseller Numbers, you may request the Apple Authorized Reseller to proceed with processing your orders through their portal to Apple.
